Customer Testimonials

Dear Tina:

First, thank you so much for doing an outstanding job arranging our trip to Ireland. I absolutely would recommend you to any friend planning a trip to Ireland.

The first B&B in Cashel had such a friendly proprietor and a totally wonderful breakfast menu. The hotel in Kinsale was well situated, had very nice rooms, and again, a great breakfast where I got to try kippers. The B&B in Dingle had a really lovely breakfast room and such a sweet young hostess. Once again we had such fun chatting with the other guests at breakfast. We were SO lucky to stay in Doolin for 2 nights. We had the perfect room with a great view of the cliffs. In Trim, we couldn’t believe our luck to be looking right out at the castle just across the street! It was a great location for seeing Newgrange. We also enjoyed the Hill of Slane in that area. The Dublin hotel had the smallest room but it was very adequate.

We had a great trip and hope to return to Ireland someday.

Thank you!

Bunratty Mead was first discovered by Irish Monks in the middle ages. Its seductive aroma is the result of marrying the pure honey and fruit of the vine together with selected herbs, to create this sensual liqueur. In olden times the bride and groom drank Mead for one full moon after their wedding, hence the term honeymoon. Mead is believed to have magical powers of fertility and virility!

Potcheen - The original treasured Irish clear smooth spirit which was banned in Ireland since 1661, is now legal. Distilled for centuries for its smooth extra strong taste, this fine potcheen - the first to be legally produced and bottled in Ireland - in now available for the rest of the world to savour. It has an impressive nose, not unlike that of fermenting mash in a brewery. Its taste is dry and grainy with a delightful changing aftertaste that sweetens as it develops.

Bunratty Mead and Potcheen brands are also available at Duty Free Shops and selected stores.
