Customer Testimonials

Hi Tina,

First, be assured that I will be recommending Irish Tourism to all my friends, business acquaintances, etc. You did a fabulous job of putting together a wonderful itinerary and the written material and maps you provided were invaluable.

Kinsale was a wonderful place to start. The Hotel was easy to find and perfectly located to walk around Kinsale. We particularly enjoyed the hotel pub's restaurant for a meal and drinks. And breakfast was fabulous!

As I said earlier, of course the Manor in Killarney was a huge hit and our favorite. I honestly did not want to leave. Our hosts were helpful at every turn. Breakfast there was wonderful as well. I am so glad we booked the bus tour of Ring of Kerry so that I could enjoy the scenery too!
We also loved the B&B in Galway. The owners were not there, but Kathleen and Anne were and we were treated like royalty! And the only day we had rain while we were in Ireland was our 2nd day in Galway, but it didn't stop us from Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park. Finally on to Dublin via Newgrange. Once again, a perfect selection of hotels - great breakfast and enjoyed dinner both nights in each of the restaurants. . We can't wait to return!

Jameson is a Single Distillery Irish Whiskey from French drinks conglomerate Pernod Ricard. Unlike other blends where several whiskeys from either other distilleries or the open market are combined together to reduce costs, the Jameson Distilling tradition has always insisted upon producing every component of their whiskey as they say "from grain to glass." Jameson is similar in its adherence to the single distillery principle to the Single Malt tradition however Jameson has always used a combination of malted and unmalted or "green" barley. The most famous component within Jameson is the legendary "Pure Pot Still" component unique to the Irish whiskey distilling since the origins of whiskey in Ireland in around 600 A.D. John Jameson established the Bow St Distillery in 1780. Originally one of the six main Dublin Whiskeys, Jameson it is now distilled in Cork, although vatting still takes place in Dublin. With annual sales of over 31 million bottles, Jameson is by far the most famous, most highly regarded and best selling Irish whiskey in the world, as it has been internationally since the early 1800's when Old John Jameson along with his son Young John was producing over a million gallons annually.
