Our Drivers

Regardless of how luxurious your transport is, the driver is the key to a successful and enjoyable journey. We have a large professional team of fully qualified, experienced and extremely friendly drivers. As fully qualified, trained tour guides, they will add a wealth of knowledge and information to any trip.
Inevitably, when we receive letters or e-mails commenting on how much the group have enjoyed their tour, comments about the driver guide tend to come on or near the top of the list. The following are just a sample of what some had to say about the drivers;

Hi Liz –

just returned home from London last night so wanted to touch base
with you to let you know how much we enjoyed our Ireland tour. Of course
the weather even made it better - we said we brought the sunshine but then
again the other people on the tour also said they brought the sunshine! No
rain at all while we were there.

Our driver/guide (Eamann -spelling?) was GREAT! To hear how Ireland became,
was and is was wonderful. The contrast in the scenery in Ireland is
starling, beautiful and spectacular. I had so many 'favorite' places!

Had a most wonderful time and would recommend to anyone!

My husband, friends and I just came back from our Ireland trip that started on June 27th. I wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had. All our accommodations and tours were wonderful. Hi, I just wanted to let you know that we went on this tour for our honeymoon, and we loved every minute of it!!!! Ireland is a beautiful place and it was nice to feel some connection to our grandparents who had left Ireland so long ago. The main reason for my writing is that I wanted to recognize Tom McCoy, our guide, and Pat Hanrahan, our driver. Tom was exceptionally professional, humorous, exuberant and knowledgeable about Ireland and we learned so much from him. Pat was equally as knowledgeable as well as his exceptional driving skills. These two gentlemen made us feel right at home and that there was nothing they wouldn't do to accommodate us. God Bless them!!

The accommodations were excellent, especially in Oughterard and in Bunratty.

Hi Stephanie,
We had a great time and our driver P.J. was the delight of the trip! My son Drew, (19) and daughter Diana, (29) absolutely fell in love with him and were so disappointed when he dropped us off in Dublin. The itinerary was just right for a first time visit. I am absolutely thrilled that we spent most of our time out in the country. Your suggested tour was exactly what I was looking for. The hotels in Galway, Dublin and Killarney were very nice. The people at the hotel in Killarney were exceptional and they really went over and above to take care of us and the view was spectacular.
We all had a great time and plan to come back again and fly into Shannon (as you had suggested) and stay at Ashford Castle and a couple of other castles too. P.J. got us reservations for tea at Ashford Castle on Monday and we had a blast. What a beautiful place! Thanks for a great trip.

Hello Liz.

Now that we are all back and settled down again I thought I would
just let you know how much I enjoyed our tour. We all did in fact. The
weather was beautiful, which helped, but the tour itself was well planned
and very enjoyable. I appreciated being able to stay in a couple of B & B's,
which are always more interesting than hotels, although they were excellent
too. Our tour director, Eamonn Murphy, was wonderful. His knowledge of Irish
history is superb and I looked forward to his talks each day. I have already recommended it to a couple I know who are going to Ireland next year.
I definitely hope to travel with you again sometime.

Hello Liz,

Our tour guide/bus driver was Tommy O'Rielly and he was extremely knowledgeable about Ireland in every category. He was very willing to answer even some of the stupidest questions with great pride for his country of Ireland.
The trip to the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren were filled with rain and fog and we had to buy a lot of postcards to fill in the gaps. Tommy was great at keep our spirits up until the end of that day.

I will definitely recommend to anyone that you put on a first class tour. We all found the accommodations fabulous and very unique with a lot of character.

I want to thank you for the wonderful help you gave in arranging a beautiful vacation for me and my friend. We LOVED Ireland. It is a gorgeous country and the people were warm, welcoming and fun. The tour was really beautiful. The hotels were lovely. Our tour guide, Dominic Dixon, was excellent. The bus was very comfortable. It certainly whetted my interest and I hope to come back again soon.
