REVIEW
In close proximity to Adare village, Echo Lodge is a charming country
house, hidden among the hills and overlooking the tranquil village
of Ballingarry. Originally built in 1884 as a parochial house, it
later became a convent and now stands as a superb country house
and restaurant. Set on seven acres of gardens, which have been restored
to their former glories, guests are free to stroll through the grounds,
enjoy the silence and breath the cleanest country air.
Echo Lodge is renowned for its cuisine, served
in its famous Mustard Seed Restaurant. Fresh herbs and vegetables
are gathered daily from the kitchen gardens while other produce
is sourced from local suppliers. An extensive wine list compliments
an exciting menu, offering only the finest Irish cuisine.
All guestrooms are individually decorated with
a combination of traditional antique furnishings and the best
in modern facilities, while the recently added luxury suites are
ideal for longer stays and for families or larger groups travelling
together. Echo Lodge is the ideal base for playing the southwest's
famous courses and for touring the region from a sightseeing perspective.
The Dingle peninsula, Burren, Ring of Kerry, Killarney and Cliffs
of Moher are all within driving distance.
