REVIEW
Randles Court Hotel in Killarney was formerly a residential rectory
that was built in 1906. The building was acquired by the Randles
family in 1992 and has been elegantly developed and restored into
a superior deluxe international hotel. The hotel exudes a warm,
relaxing atmosphere and boasts a fine private collection of art
and exquisite range of antiques.
Each guestroom has its own unique features,
offers elegant marble bathrooms and sitting areas and is equipped
to satisfy the every need of the most discerning guest. The dining
room attracts a large local clientele, which is always a good
sign, and offers a menu comprising the finest Irish beef, lamb
and salmon, while the extensive wine cellar provides something
for every palette. The bar has a homely, local feel to it, while
the lounge is ideal for taking afternoon tea and scones by an
open fire.
Just a short drive and within walking distance
of Killarney Town, the hotel is perfectly situated in terms of
shopping and all the major attractions that the region has to
offer. Just a short drive away from Killarney Golf Club, with
its three excellent courses, like most hotels in the Killarney
area, the Randles Court is an ideal base from which to explore
the surrounding area and to take in the likes of Muckross House
and Gardens, the Lakes of Killarney, Dingle Peninsula, Torc Waterfall,
Ring of Kerry and Gap of Dunloe.
