9 Night North of Ireland Knitting & Craft Tour (2017)
Begin your knitting tour of Ireland in Dublin where you will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and visit the Constant Knitter where you will meet local craftspeople for a short demonstration and informal chat. On your second day in Dublin you will meet Lisa Sisk for a knitting workshop following the Moebius Knitting technique. Next travel to Galway where you will take a flight or Ferry to Inis Mor, the largest of the three Aran Islands. Here enjoy a knitting workshop, discovering the traditional Aran methods, a tour of the Island and some great traditional music and dance. Travelling to Sligo via the famous Foxford Woollen Mills, you will then meet Ciara Ní Reachtnín for another workshop. After your class, stay overnight in Rosses Point in County Sligo, famous for its wonderful sea views and long sandy beach.
The Northern part of your tour includes Studio Donegal, a hand-weaving and clothing manufacturing business, the amazing Slieve League Cliffs and a workshop with Irish Designer Edel MacBride. Stay overnight in Derry and the next day discover Ireland’s famous Causeway Coast, visiting the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle. In Belfast there will be a free day for shopping or independent sightseeing. Before you return to Dublin for your final overnight visit Aine Dunne’s studio for a spinning and tapestry workshop, pay a visit to Irish Linen Centre and the Thomas Ferguson Linen Factory for a guided tour.

Customer Testimonial
In May I led a tour to the Emerald Isle of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Ireland has some amazing scenery in all the different shades of green. We saw castles (even stayed in one) and churches and burial sites. We toured the Waterford Crystal factory, and the famous Jameson and Bushmills Distilleries. We saw where thousands emigrated to the United States, and the new Titanic Museum in Belfast. At the Giant's Causeway we could see over to Scotland. Our spiritual life was lifted up with a study of St Patrick and the Shamrock and his teachings on the Trinity. We ended our trip with a visit to Guinness and the famous Irish dancers.
Thanks to all the staff for giving us a wonderful tour.
