Literary Festivals Group Tour of Ireland

This specialist tour that will combine two famous writer’s festivals in Ireland – Dublin Writers’ Festival and Listowel Writers’ Week – as well as allowing you to experience much of the history, heritage and beauty of the Emerald Isle. On this tour you will take in many of the sites associated with Ireland’s long and illustrious literary history, from the earliest works of Jonathan Swift who wrote the children’s classic Gulliver’s Travels to Bram Stoker who shocked his Victorian audience with Dracula in 1897 and Oscar Wilde who was regarded as one of the greatest playwrights of the Victorian Era. Since then Ireland has had four Literature Nobel prize winners including Seamus Heaney, Samuel Beckett, George Bernard Shaw and William Butler Yeats.
