Overview
for the 8 Night Way Out West Self Drive/Chauffeured Tour of Ireland |
| |
|
| |
|
There is no question that the imagery of the West of Ireland
will forever be imprinted on your mind after your visit to
this dramatic landscape, with its rugged mountains, freshwater
lakes and unspoilt miles of coastline and pristine sandy beaches.
When you picture yourself crossing bogs where ponies roam
and rare heathers bloom; when you picture yourself conquering
the summit of Errisbeg Hill; or when you picture yourself
strolling along a 5 mile stretch of beach and all the while,
be it bogland, mountain, hill or shore, the only footprints
that you see are your own. What is hard to imagine is not
that these places exist, but that they exist in the midst
of warm and friendly communities. In the West of Ireland where
the Gaelic culture thrives and half the population still speaks
Irish as its first language, it is the people that might distract
you from the wonderful sights to be seen. By day enjoy the
magnificent scenery including, The Cliffs of Moher, The Aran
Islands, Killary Harbour and the stark Burren Landscape of
County Clare. By night rest your weary bones by a roaring
turf fire, accompanied by superb traditional Irish music in
one of a myriad of welcoming pubs. Galway City, the festival
capital of the country awaits with its famous Horse Racing,
Art and Oyster festivals to name but a few. During your final
2 days, an historical day trip that includes visits to the
Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle in Tipperary and even the
Waterford Crystal Factory in Waterford City.
Experience the true essence of Ireland - Way out West.

Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for your email, I wanted to let you know that we had
a wonderful time during our recent trip to Ireland. The places
we stayed in were very accommodating, and the hosts' were so
lovely, and very helpful with any questions or requests we had.
Also, each place we stayed at was very clean, immaculate!! Our
stay at Ashford was magical. My sister Kathleen and I were told
our room was upgraded to a deluxe luxury suite, I felt like
a princess for the night!! We managed to navigate the roads
okay, actually my sister Kathleen did all the driving wedrove1500km),
and she did a great job! The weather was beautiful the whole
time, we only had one rain shower the entire trip, that lasted
about 40 minutes. Thank you again for all of your assistance,
you were so helpful and very kind. We would highly recommend
your travel agency to anyone planning a trip to your country.
Have a good day!
Karen Janaskie
