We had one of the best trips of our
lives! All arrangements made by you and irishtourism.com were
wonderful. I would be happy to recommend your services to anyone.
Dunbrody House, Ballynahinch, and The Merrion were fabulous places
to stay. The food was fantastic especially the restaurant at The
Merrion that you booked for us.
I can’t think of any bad or ugly. Everyone was so nice and
even our weather was pretty good considering it was the first
week of November.
Hopefully we will be back and I will definitely book the trip
to Ireland with irishtourism.com. I just wish you did other countries.
Thanks again,
Lynne

| I'm only too delighted to get back
to you following our really successful and enjoyable trip to Ireland
recently. In fact I meant to thank Tony Keane for all his help
since my initial enquiry last June/July.
Our driver from Enfield coaches, Pat Walsh, was delightful. He
was waiting at Knock airport to collect us as soon as the group
landed. The standard of the transport provided was very high and
perfectly suited to the size of our group. Mr Walsh, as well as
being a safe pair of hands, was really helpful and utterly accommodating
when it came to helping us finalise an itinerary for our visit
to sites around Co. Sligo. He was equally obliging in adapting
to the change in our schedule on Saturday morning. The group stayed
a little longer than anticipated in the Yeats Memorial Building
but we were able to stay in contact with Mr Walsh by mobile phone
and he instantly thought of an alternative routing for our drive
that would enable us to keep our appointments at Lissadell house
and Drumcliffe, drive around those areas of the landscape associated
with certain of Yeats's poems, and still make it back to Dublin
by 6.00pm. Furthermore Mr Walsh acted as a very knowledgeable
guide as we drove around the North West and crossed the country
to Dublin,
providing valuable insights into historical and contemporary aspects
of Irish life.
The standard of accommodation in each of the hotels where we
stayed (Sligo Southern and Mount Herbert Hotel) was highly satisfactory.
The staff in each hotel were welcoming and helpful. The one slightly
disappointing aspect of our stay in The Sligo Southern arose as
we were checking out. One of the group had accidentally broken
the light plastic rectangular key-ring attached to his room key.
I apologised to the receptionist and explained that i had witnessed
the student in question sit on the key ring on one of the sofas
in the entrance foyer. It immediately snapped in two without any
significant force or sinister intention being involved. However
we were asked to wait to speak to a manager regarding the key
ring. When she
arrived, the manager adopted what i felt was a tone entirely out
of proportion to the situation. She suggested we pay for the plastic
key-ring. I was a little surprised at this request and suggested
that the piece of plastic in question might be easily replaced
by the hotel as, given its fragile nature, such breakages must
happen frequently. After a rather embarrassing 10 minutes the
manager grudgingly conceded that we might "be let off"
on this occasion. I just felt that this approach was not typical
of the behavior of staff in such a reputable hotel. I have certainly
not ever before experienced anything of this kind in any of the
other Mc Eniff Group
Hotels. A disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable and comfortable
overnight stay. In Dublin the accommodation and breakfasts were
of an equally high standard. The staff at The Mount Herbert were
particularly eager to help us in any way and were very sweet to
the boys. The receptionist complimented the boys on their behavior
over the two nights. That was really appreciated. Tony Keane was
absolutely indispensable to me in planning this trip. Apart from
booking and arranging the accommodation and transport for us,
Tony also gave me the names of several useful contacts and provided
us with sample
itineraries all of which were invaluable. From my point of view
it has been an absolute pleasure working with your organisation
and i look forward to having the opportunity to work with you
again. Thoroughly efficient and extremely good value.
Thank you very much indeed,

| We had a marvelous trip! Ireland
was everything and more than we had hoped. The planning that your
organization did was excellent and made the trip enjoyable at
every stage. We could never have done it without you. One small
snag the first day, but Ronan and others took care of the problem
quickly and efficiently. The service we received was above and
beyond the "call of duty" and I can only say I was both
amazed and impressed. Again, I want to thank Ronan for the personal
attention and kind service he rendered. When one has problems
in a new land, having a friend looking out for you is a real blessing.
Please feel free to use us and our experience as a reference,
as we could not be more satisfied. You made our Ireland adventure
one we will treasure for the rest of our lives!

| Hello.
I just returned from Ireland and I want to tell you what a wonderful
experience we had. This was due in large part to the incredible
hospitality we were shown everywhere we went.
In particular, I commend the Elloyd Bed and Breakfast in Killarney.
Not only was the inn itself comfortable, convenient and immaculate,
but the innkeeper, Mary, was extraordinary in her service. Due
to a misunderstanding on our part (we assumed a double room meant
two double beds as it does in the U.S.), our accommodations included
only one double bed. This would not normally have been a problem,
but my daughter who arranged the trip is in the first trimester
of pregnancy. She was rather restless at night not to mention
that she wasn't’t always feeling so hot. To ensure our comfort,
Mary gave us an extra room (at no charge) for two nights. This
was no small thing, particularly on the second night when the
inn was full and Mary had to “move things around”
as she put it to make this happen. I should add that we had had
a problem with our reservation on the first night. Though the
mistake was very nicely resolved, the fact that it had happened
at all seemed to make Mary especially eager to set things right.
While we were there, she worked with your office to reconfirm
all of our upcoming accommodations and get us what we needed.
She is an incredible good will ambassador for Ireland and particularly
for irishtourism.com.
So, many thanks and congratulations to Mary and to your whole
team. Based on my many personal and professional travels, I can
say without reservation that you could teach business folks in
the U.S. a thing or two about hospitality and customer service....and
I can’t wait to go back to Ireland.
Sincerely,

| The trip was wonderful. We could
not believe how clean all the places we stayed were. Even the
public bathrooms in Ireland were clean!. The people we stayed
with were delightful (especially Bridie at Bay view in Clifden).
I have already recommended your service to a family at my church
who are thinking of vacationing in Ireland soon. I fully intend
to come back in the near future and will definitely book my tour
with you.

Thanks for making such great choices
for us. All accommodation was wonderful. You are clearly an agency
that can be trusted, and we feel fortunate that we found you.
Your country is truly beautiful and everyone was gracious and
hospitable (awfully impressive, I think, considering how Americans
look to the rest of the world these days). If we get a chance
to return, we will contact you again.
Best regards,
Emily

| We had a wonderful trip. The Golf
courses were beautiful and the arrangements seamless. The Carrig
House was just wonderful... both Mary and Frank Slattery were
wonderful hosts and the hotel was just lovely. The food was wonderful
as well, they have an excellent chef! Of course, Sheen Falls was
gorgeous on a much grander scale ... I wish that we had more time
to enjoy it there. It just makes for a great excuse to return!
Thank you and Tony Keane for taking care of the ground arrangements
everything worked out perfectly. I will definitely recommend your
services to others.
Regards,

| I have been meaning to write you
since our return. Please forgive me for not writing immediately
to thank you for a wonderful trip. Ronan did an amazing job setting
us up in the B & B's, the hotel in Dublin and Abbeyglen Castle.
We used Irish car rentals and Ryan Air both at the recommendation
of Ronan and except for a slight delay getting over to Ireland
from Gatwick, (Ryan Air's problem) it was great!!
We LOVED Dublin but could have probably used 1 more day. We crammed
everything in that was feasibly possible. Kinsale and Rossbrin
B & B was probably my personal favorite. Phil was a very warm
and inviting hostess and we felt extremely welcome in her home.
Unfortunately we did have some rainy weather which did not dampen
our spirits in any way, with the exception of Cliffs of Moher
where the weather was pretty torrential and the Cliffs invisible
:( (Nothing that you could have controlled!) We liked all the
B & B's. They were all lovely in their own way. But, my husband's
personal favorite accommodation was the Castle. I actually think
all 4 of us LOVED it and appreciated the large bedrooms and bathroom
after the B & B experience :)
Thank you once again for all your help! Thank you Ronan!!!
I would recommend you immediately to anyone looking to make the
trip.
Many thanks,
