Kerry Way (8 Day and 12 Day)
8 days/7 nights or 12 days/11 nights
The Kerry Way was founded by legendary local hiker, Sean O Suilleabhain, over 25 years ago. In that time it has become one of Ireland's premier walking tours. Sean was author of the best seller: 'Walk Guide - Southwest of Ireland'. This is the ideal way to explore the Ring of Kerry. You start and end the tour in Killarney and en route you will experience a wonderful selection of woodland, valley and coastal walks. It will take 11 days to complete the ring, but there is an 8-day version for those whose time is more limited. The average walking time ranges from 5 to 7 hours per day at leisurely pace.
Highlights of your Walking Tour In Ireland:
- Killarney National Park - lakes, oak woods, waterfalls, bogland, habitat of the Irish Red Deer
- Spectacular coastal walks along Glenbeigh, Caherciveen and Waterville
- The ice-carved Black Valley and the Gap of Dunloe
- Muckross House and Gardens.
