This holiday, based in the South West of Ireland in Glenbeigh and Killarney, Co. Kerry, offers you the best coastal, inland and National Park walks in Ireland. Walk four legs of the famous Kerry Way walking trail on old coach and butter roads, which take you from the Atlantic Ocean, on the shore of Dingle Bay, through the wild valleys of Mid Kerry to the Killarney National Park. The experience of travelling on foot as in days of yore is complemented by superb views, unique flora and fauna and a landscape imbued with folklore. Add ample opportunities to enjoy the craic (the fun) of evenings in an Irish pub and you get a satisfying cultural experience..
Glenbeigh (Gleann Beithe – Valley of the Birch trees) is a beautiful vibrant village situated by the Atlantic Ocean, at the foot of the mountains of the Iveragh peninsula, on the Ring of Kerry. Walk on the 6 miles of golden, blue flag beach of Rossbeigh, while breathing in the fresh Atlantic sea air. The town has great pubs and restaurants where you will have the opportunity to hear traditional Irish music or even partake in some dancing! Situated on the Kerry Way walking route you can walk from your guesthouse on two days.
Killarney (Winner of the Tidiest town in Ireland 2010)
Killarney is a unique base for your final three nights. It offers a unique combination of great pubs, music, book and coffee shops yet it is right beside the world famous Killarney National Park and Lakes. It’s a great base for your free day with options such as hiring a bike, visiting a spa, shopping, hop on a bus to Dingle or simply enjoy the National Park.

Accommodation
Your accommodation for the first four nights is in Kerry Ocean Lodge, Go Irelands quality 20-bedroom walking lodge, based in the centre of Glenbeigh with every walkers need catered for. Every room has a TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and private bathroom. There is also free internet access, free laundry facilities and private parking.
Accommodation in Killarney,
You will be based in one of our favourite three star hotels in Killarney a few minutes walk from the town centre and bedside the National Park.

Airport Transfers for your Walking Tour
- We do not include the price of our airport transfers in our holidays to make it as transparent as possible. We want to minimise the money spent on airport transfers while maximising your valuable holiday time. You only pay for the transfer you need
- Prices are per person and based on a minimum of 2 people per transfer
- All transfers must be confirmed at the time of booking with flight numbers and times for arrival and departure. Otherwise we will assume you are making your own way to the first nights accommodation
- Please note that refunds are not provided for any unused portions of the transfer
- Private taxis can also be arranged, at the clients own expense, should the transfer timetable or public transport not suit

www.aerarann.com fly from Manchester and Lorient, France to Kerry
Publc Transport:
There is a great public bus system from Kerry airport to Killarney and Tralee with up to 10 buses a day. See www.buseireann.ie for details.
Transfers from Kerry airport
All transfers from/to Kerry airport to Killarney, Tralee, Camp and Glenbeigh will operate between 07.00 and 18.00 on Saturdays

Shannon Airport
There is a frequent shuttle bus from Shannon airport to Limerick from where you can get a direct bus from Limerick to either Killarney or Tralee. See www.buseireann.ie for details. We recommend that you arrive in Shannon in the morning to make the connections.
Transfers from Shannon
All transfers from Shannon airport to Kerry will depart at 12.00 on Saturdays and arrive back at Shannon at 11.00 on Saturdays.

Dublin Airport
Clients can fly into Dublin and can either get a train from Dublin Heuston Train Station in the city centre to Killarney or Tralee (see www.irishrail.ie) or they can fly with www.ryanair.com from Dublin to Kerry airport three times a day.
Cork Airport
Get a shuttle bus from Cork airport into Cork bus station (25 minutes) and then get a bus from Cork to Killarney (1 hour 20 minutes).
