In light of the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have amended our cancellation policy temporarily as follows.
For new bookings made between the 9th March – 30th April 2020 should you wish to cancel for any reason prior to 4 weeks of travel, we will postpone your vacation free of charge. Should you wish to cancel your vacation within 4 weeks of travel, we will postpone your booking free of charge, barring any penalties charged to us by accommodation providers and other services. All monies paid will be retained and can be used toward the cost of a new booking at any date in the future.
What's Happening With Current Upcoming 2020 Bookings?
For those of you that have already booked tours with us, our team are currently working very hard rescheduling bookings that are due to arrive in the next few weeks and as a result we are dealing with high volumes of enquiries and anticipate an even higher volume still going further into April and May. For this reason, we ask you to bear with us as we get through the backlog. Please rest assured that all enquiries will be dealt with but we have to give priority to those arriving in the next few weeks. As it stands at the moment, the travel restrictions apply to Ireland until the first week of May and therefore any tour scheduled for departure in April and until the beginning of May cannot go ahead at this time. Any tour participants who have been affected by this change have been notified accordingly.
What's Happening With 2020 Bookings for Later This Year?
Currently there are no travel restrictions imposed by the Irish Government beyond beyond the first week in May so while the situation is a fluid one, at the moment, tours that we have planned after that first week in May and beyond will run as scheduled. If you have booked one of tours that is due to commence in the next couple of months or even later in 2020 and have your own concerns regarding travel, we would be happy to offer you the opportunity to postpone your vacation to another time, free of any additional administration or booking fees. Alternatively, we can issue a gift voucher for use on any future tour with no time limit.
What's Happening With New Bookings?
We still have availability on some of our tours later in the year and we are accepting new bookings for July 2020 and beyond. When the time comes, if there are COVID-19 travel restrictions in Ireland, participants will be allowed to transfer their payment to another tour, free of any additional administration or booking fees. Or we can issue a gift voucher for use on any future tour with no time limit.
These tours are operated by CIE Tours International and as such CIE's cancellation policy that is place at the time of booking will apply.
For new bookings made between the 9th March – 30th April 2020 should you wish to cancel for any reason prior to 4 weeks of travel, we will postpone your vacation free of charge to any other tour within the 2020/2021 tour season.
