Culzean Castle is a castle located on the cliffs of Aryshire Coast in Scotland. The castle itself overlooks the Firth of Clyde and it is the former home of the Marquess of Ailsa. The castle is part of a beautiful 260ha estate that was once the home to David Kennedy, 10th Earl of Cassilis. This was a man who liked to impress with its wealth and status. The park itself is very opulent with mixture of plants and trees like conifers and beech dotted along sandy coastline dotted with caves.  The castle was designed by Robert Adams in the 18th century and the castle is full of treasures that tell the story of who lived there. Some of the highlights of the castle are Robert Adam’s Oval Staircase which is one of the centrepiece attractions of the castle. Take the chance to discover the woods, beaches, parkland, Swan Pond, deer park and cliffs. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the huge collections of flintlock pistols and military swords.
