Your bus tour today takes you to some of Ireland’s most famous scenic area including Connemara National Park and the marvellous Kylemore Abbey, once a castle but now home to the Benedictine Nuns of Ireland. Check out of your hotel after breakfast and head south, stopping first at one of Ireland’s natural wonders, the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs rise to over 700 feet along a five mile stretch of the Clare/Atlantic coastline and the views from the cliffs are just magnificent. The group continues then to one of Ireland’s most complete castles, the 15th century Bunratty Castle. Within the grounds of the castle is a reconstructed 19th century village that depicts life in those times. After the visit travel to what is considered as one of Ireland’s prettiest villages, Adare, before you continue to the popular town of Killarney. This morning after breakfast you will be collected by jaunting car (horse & carriage) and taken on a magical trip through Killarney National Park to Ross Castle, a 15th century stronghold built by one of the O’Donoghue Ross chieftains where your bus will take you on the 100 mile Ring of Kerry. During the tour you will travel through the colourful towns of Sneem, Waterville - one of Charlie Chaplin’s favourite spots - and enjoy the magnificent views from Molls Gap & Ladies View. Check out of your hotel after breakfast and commence your journey back to Dublin. Stop at Blarney Castle, famed for its Stone of Eloquence that is said to grant the Gift of the Gab to those that kiss it. There will be time to visit the Blarney Woollen Mills that stock many Irish made goods. Then continue to the iconic Rock of Cashel, a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral.
