Powerscourt Golf Course is a magnificent parkland course on the grounds of the world-famous and celebrated Powerscourt Estate and Gardens. There are panoramic views to the sea and Sugarloaf Mountain and the 200 year old mammoth trees give the impression that the course has been here for years. The course has many holes with links characteristics contrasting the parkland holes at the beginning of the course.

Built to championship standard, with top quality tees and exceptional tiered greens, the course has an abundance of natural features. It's an undulating course with greens that range from mildly to severely sloped. The rolling terrain offers some great challenges, particularly from its length and incredible bunkering system.

The new West Course, designed by David McLay Kidd (Oregon's Bandon Dunes) opened in the summer of 2003 and is scenic and hilly.
