Dublin Golf Tournament Tour

Day 1: Arrive Dublin

Arrive Dublin Airport and after collecting your luggage & golf clubs meet with your experienced Irish driver/guide. All of the drivers we use are qualified guides and have great personalities that really will make your trip unforgettable. Travel into Ireland’s capital city and visit Trinity College which houses the famous Book of Kells, transcribed by 9th century monks. Continue on to a more modern attraction, The Guinness Storehouse, which tells the 250 year story of one of Ireland’s greatest exports. At the end of the tour, sample a pint of “The Black Stuff” whilst enjoying 360 degree panoramic views of the city from the Gravity Bar. After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the afternoon is free for individual sightseeing or a practice round of golf. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel, where details of the tournament will be discussed. Overnight Dublin DBB

Day 2: Island Golf Club

Play Island Golf Club. The Island Golf Club is one of Ireland's Premier Links Courses. This links course is located across the estuary from the quaint village of Malahide, just North of Portmarnock. The Island Golf Club was established in 1890 and, surrounded by the sea on three sides, it enjoys a unique setting. Until as recently as 1973 the club was approached by boat from Malahide across the estuary. Fred Hawtree, Eddie Hackett and more recently Martin Hawtree have made course design improvements, ensuring that the true nature and character of the links are enhanced. A Classic Links Experience.Following the morning exertions, your coach will return you to your hotel. The remainder of the day & evening is available for you to sample some of the wonders of Ireland. Several attractions are available including The Old Jameson Distillery, Dublinia & The Viking World, The National Leprechaun Museum to name but a few. Of course, there are also the famous shopping areas of Grafton Street, O’Connell Street and George’s Street to visit. Dinner is not included tonight, so why not sample one of Dublin’s many cosmopolitan restaurants. As an optional extra, we can arrange a traditional Irish dinner followed by a music & dance show at one of several recommended locations such as The Abbey Tavern, Irish House Party, Arlington Hotel etc or perhaps a night at the dogs including dinner. Day 3: Royal Dublin Golf Club

Play Royal Dublin Golf Club. Visitors from home and abroad are always most welcome at The Royal Dublin Golf Club. The Club is situated on the North East Coast of Dublin approximately 5 km from the city centre. It is located on the Bull Island Nature Reserve, separated from the world by Dublin Bay, yet only minutes from historic Dublin. This famous links course has been drawn on the lines suggested by the surrounding nature reserve, and provides a test of golf that has been enjoyed by golfing greats and amateurs alike for over 100 years. Following the completion of the tournament, you will be transferred back to your hotel where the remainder of the day is free. In the evening a farewell and prize giving dinner will be held at your hotel. Overnight Dublin DBB

Day 4: Depart Dublin

After a hearty Irish breakfast, depart your Hotel for Dublin Airport to arrive in plenty of time for your return flight home.
